Oxford Immune Algorithmics (OIA) Collaboration with the World’s First AI University MBZUAI

Oxford Immune Algorithmics (OIA), creators of the Algocyte health-and biotech venture and leaders in the field of causal and model-driven AI, collaborate with the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi.  Both institutions are committed to making a significant and positive impact in advancing global society through Artificial Intelligence.

The mission of MBZUAI is to be the hub of fundamental AI research, training and transformation, and the global epicentre of research in the field. It is the world’s first university committed to AI, which makes the MBZUAI a perfect partner.

OIA’s mission is to use the best of both human and machine intelligence to create a revolutionary and sustainable impact on global health. OIA recently participated in an internship program and hosted one of MBZUAI’s top students, Diego Saenz, an MSc. Natural Language Processing student who completed a summer internship in OIA’s Abu Dhabi branch.

“One of our main objectives at MBZUAI is to expose our students to real-world work environments as part of their studies. We are thankful for this opportunity and are confident it will be of immense benefit to MBZUAI students.”

Reem Al Orfali, Director of Student Affairs at MBZUAI

OIA was thrilled to welcome Diego, who was a positive addition to the team. We hope to foster a long-term relationship that will last well into the future through diverse projects and contributions. OIA is firmly committed to supporting the next generation of AI leaders through mentorship, education, and the awarding of internships and welcomes the opportunity to partner with MBZUAI.

“The relationship with MBZUAI has allowed a promising student to benefit from our in-house developed, new AI methodologies. It also provides young talent with first-hand experience in the industry, which will be vital in helping to create the next generation of AI leaders in the UAE”
